THE COMBINED High School and Grade School circa 1915. The original building at the rear was built in 1868 and the front section was added in 1890 when more classrooms were needed.

THIS REAR VIEW of the Venice schools campus is perhaps the best view of the 1868 original school building (at far right) with the 1890 addition between it and Broadway. The high school, first opened in 1917, is at left.
