Plans for the Venice Reunion 2019 are underway and Reunion Chairperson Sharon Maurer will be contacting the members of her own Class of 1969, who will be honored during the reunion upon their 50th anniversary of graduating from Venice High School.
The annual Venice Reunion is for anyone who ever lived in Venice. It is NOT just for people who went to one or both Venice public schools. Everyone is invited.
She is also working to get the word out about the reunion scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at the Elks Lodge, 4801 Maryville Road, Granite City.
The 2019 Venice Reunion will begin with the doors opening at 5 p.m., dinner being served at 6 p.m and the evening concluding at 10 p.m. There will not be a D.J., but music will be provided.
Email and mail invitations will be sent to all of those on our list about June 1. Those wanting to eat dinner at the reuion will be asked to respond by July 25. Dinners are only available by reservations made by this date.
Please contact your family members, classmates, friends, or anyone else who used to live in Venice to attend the 2019 reunion.
The easiest way to get on our list is to send an email to venicememories@yahoo.com. A confirmation will be sent back as soon as possible.
